Would love to do some quilting with you. If you can stand the mess at my moms house, I'd love to take you there and you can help me quilt one that I have in an old fashioned hanging rack. Its just barely started on and has tons of quilting left to do. If you have something going at your house I'd love helping with it too. Just give me a hollar. Oh, and I still have your barrels! Anna

glad to see a post. I miss reading about you all and what is going on at the farm. I know the heat is miserable without AC. I never, ever, thought I would be a big fan of AC but as a senior citizen and living in Florida, I could not do without it and I am a native and should be able to cope. But, my mother even gave in her last years and needed AC.

I hope there is nothing wrong and your health problems are just due to the heat and over exertion. It does me that way. But, good luck and keep us posted and slow down a little, please.

My grandfather had a shaving mug, basically a diner-style ceramic coffee mug, where he kept pieces of soap that were too small for bathing with. He used a shaving brush and a little water to whip up thick suds to shave with. Brings back memories, for sure!

Hi Cyndi! Well, near is subjective...I live in Dallas, TX, but I would drive as far as needed to be able to meet you one day! Hope all is well and you are able to stay cool - that's the only thing I worry about for you -- I get MEAN when it's hot...I can be cold, but I really cannot be hot! LOL

Please keep telling your story in your own amazingly wonderful way...I look forward especially each Monday to reading what you guys have been up to!

Oh I will call when we get back into tearing down and building things. I will also make sure his back is all better before he helps. If not he can sit somewhere and supervise our pathetic building skills. lol
